Easy-to-use and easy-to-adjust means of securing webbing. The locking door traps the webbing to prevent unintentional slippage.
These camloc buckles have a lever with an off center cam that forces it to compress the webbing into the back of the buckle when the lever is pushed down. Camloc buckles are good for straps that require more frequent adjustment, rather than quick release or closure, which is the main advantage to the side release buckle. These work great with light weight webbing. They do not work as well with heavy or super heavy webbing due to the thickness of the webbing.
