This second edition topographic map captures the highest mountains in Australia and was born from the need for a detailed and durable map to understand and navigate the mountains. It balances beauty with function and is inspired by the illustrative detail of Swiss skitouring maps and modernist cartographic style of U.S. Geological Survey of the 1960’s.
This Map with exceptional landscape detail is equally capable of withstanding expedition rigours in the backcountry or looking great in a frame on the wall.
It is based on a digital elevation model which provides a detailed and accurate spatial understanding of peaks, valleys, lakes, rivers and other features. Relief hillshading and rock drawing allows the terrain to ‘pop’ from the surface enabling easy perception of landforms.
10m contour intervals (20m standard)

The A1 double sided map is built for adventures in every season. The map is printed on Tyvek® which is a textured ‘paperlike’ material that withstands wet and windy winter weather. It is lightweight at approximately 125 grams and specially folded for quick and easy use in high winds.A5 folded size to fit in jacket pocket.
The map is built from surveys in every season and years of studio drafting. It has also been shaped by the collective experiences and knowledge of mountain guides, historians and people of every outdoor pursuit from recreational hikers and elite trail runners to skitouring pioneers of the 1950’s.
Designed in Sydney by Topograph, we have worked with specialist local printers to test, refine and print a map of the highest quality.
